What this site is

A personal portfolio belonging to Daniel Yerushalmi, a student builder in Woodbury, New York. It sells nothing, takes no payment and has no accounts. By using it, you agree to what is on this page.

The work shown

Everything in the work and software sections is work I made. Descriptions of what a piece does, what it was built with and how long it took are written honestly, but they are summaries rather than specifications, and a live project may have moved on since it was written about here.

The same goes for anything on this site that reads as a claim about my experience or education. If a detail matters to a decision you are making, ask me and I will confirm it.

The brands in the work

Parelle, Veredmor, Olympian and Sunder are concept brands. I invented them to have something real to design for. They are not companies, they sell nothing, and nothing shown under those names is a real product, a real price or a real order.

Where a piece of that work shows an object that resembles a real product, it is there as a stand-in for the design, and it does not mean the maker of that product is involved with, endorses or is connected to me or to the concept brand.

Getting in touch is not a contract

The site says I am open to briefs and internships, and it gives you a way to write to me. Sending a brief, and my replying to it, does not create an agreement, a quote or a commitment by either of us. Any actual work would be agreed separately in writing.

What is mine

The design, text, images, animation and code of this site are mine, and so is the work shown in it, except for the parts listed in the next section. You are welcome to look at how it is built, to view the source, and to learn from it. Please do not republish the site or a project from it as your own work.

What is other people's

• GSAP and its ScrollTrigger plugin, used under the licence GSAP is distributed with.
• The three.js library, used under the MIT License.
• The typefaces Space Grotesk and IBM Plex Mono, served by Google Fonts under their open-source font licences.

The concept projects linked from the work section carry their own credits for the 3D models and other material they use, on those sites.

Using the site

Look around, share it, and take it apart to see how it works. Please do not try to break, overload or misuse the site or the service that hosts it, and please do not use it to pass my work off as someone else's.

No guarantees

The site is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. It may change, break, or go offline at any time. The interactive pieces need a reasonably modern browser, and some of them need hardware 3D graphics; where a browser cannot run them, the page falls back to something simpler.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from using this site, from anything on it being unavailable, or from relying on anything written on it. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot legally be limited.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, where I am based.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top says when they last were.
